Through the Parent Academy classes, Orange County Public Schools provides FREE parental development skill-building workshops, specialized parental support, educational events, and activities for families throughout the school year.

The Parent Academy offers a variety of courses for parents and the community members ranging from academic support, health care, to emotional and financial management.

WHAT is Milk and Muffins?

  • Milk and Muffins is a Saturday morning program for children 3 years old-Kindergarten. UCF students, participating in early reading activities (games, puzzles, letter matching, rhyming, singing, reading books).
  • Milk and Muffins is also a program for parents. While your child is working with a UCF student, you will have the opportunity to participate in a “parent class” to learn ways to help your child be ready to learn to read and to be best prepared to succeed in school.
